Our beLEAFs are also planted on reforestation farms, within agroforestry systems. At these sites, we cultivate not only Elephant Ear leaves but also an environment where different types of vegetation and food crops can develop together – improving soil fertility and local biodiversity. These areas, previously degraded, are now transformed into fertile origins of beauty and life.
Each leaf and each crop grows in harmony with the surrounding environment, respecting the balance of nature and its cycles. This system not only contributes to the healthy growth of our beLEAFs, but also to the enrichment of the soil. Through the composting of organic waste, which returns to the soil as nutrients, our reforestation farms close the natural cycle of the earth, participating in a system that benefits the entire surrounding ecosystem.
Additionally, our beLEAFs can also be planted in family farming systems, strengthening our commitment to sustainable and inclusive agricultural practices. This approach allows small-scale farmers to actively participate in our vision of a greener future while creating a highly collaborative system.
